About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join our team. You will own SEO across our own agency website while managing a portfolio of client accounts, driving organic growth, and playing an active role in winning new business.

Key Responsibilities

Agency Website SEO

• Own and execute the full SEO strategy for our agency website
• Identify and implement improvements across technical SEO, on-page content, and link building
• Monitor rankings, traffic, and conversions and report on performance regularly

Client SEO Management

• Manage SEO for a portfolio of ecommerce clients across multiple markets
• Develop tailored SEO strategies aligned to each client's business goals and market
• Execute on-page, off-page, and technical SEO across Shopify and Shopify Plus storefronts
• Monitor and report on KPIs, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, conversion, and revenue impact

SEO Audits & Strategic Planning

• Conduct comprehensive SEO audits on a regular basis for both agency and client websites
• Deliver clear, actionable audit reports with prioritised recommendations and implementation plans
• Stay current with algorithm updates, industry trends, and ecommerce SEO best practices

New Business & Pitching

• Collaborate with senior management to prepare and deliver SEO proposals to prospective clients
• Contribute to pitch decks, audit previews, and strategic recommendations during the sales process
• Clearly articulate SEO value and ROI to business stakeholders and decision-makers

Requirements

• University degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably within an agency environment
• Proven experience working with Shopify; Shopify Plus experience is a strong advantage
• Demonstrated track record of delivering SEO results in the US market
• Experience with Canadian or European markets is a significant advantage
• Fluent in English — both written and spoken — to a professional business standard
• Proficient with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Analytics 4
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, including site architecture, Core Web Vitals, structured data, crawlability, and indexation
• Experience producing client-ready reports, audits, and strategic plans
• Comfortable presenting and communicating with clients and senior stakeholders
• Available Monday to Friday, 9 am–5 pm EST
